What's your refund policy?ALTNGO Refund Policy At ALTNGO, we strive to deliver the highest quality services and ensure a positive experience for our clients. Below is our refund policy: Cancellation by Client: Refund requests must be submitted in writing. Cancellations made more than 14 days prior to the start of production will be eligible for a full refund, minus a 10% administrative fee. Cancellations within 14 days of production will be eligible for a 50% refund. Cancellation by ALTNGO: If we must cancel the project due to unforeseen circumstances, clients will receive a full refund. Non-Refundable Deposits: Deposits paid to secure project dates are non-refundable but may be applied toward future projects within six months. Project Dissatisfaction: If you are not satisfied with the final product, ALTNGO will work with you to address revisions as outlined in the service agreement. Refunds will not be issued for completed shoots. This policy ensures fairness while acknowledging that your fees go toward the cost of production. We use that money to pay for locations and permits, hire crew, pay for meals and craft services, buy props and wardrobe if needed. The money is generally spent before we start shooting. For further clarification, please contact us directly.

How are fees used?Fees are pooled together to pay for the: Below-the-line crew (this is where the majority of the fees go) ALTNGO costs Lunches and craft service Locations and permits (when necessary) Wardrobe and props (when necessary) Keep in mind that we don't get the same players every time. Sometimes we have to pay additional costs, like for editing. If you'd like to negotiate your fee (say you'd like to do the editing yourself), let's have a conversation!

What if I only want to do one short film (not both)? Can I split the fee with someone else?Yeah! We can make that happen. Or, if you work with a co-director (or co-any role) we're happy to work with you. You may need to pay a little extra to cover the cost of having another person on set but we're very happy to figure that out with you. Give us a call and we'll work through details with you.

Can my mom come take pictures of me while we're filming?Um ... Maybe? Generally we don't allow visitors on set. We don't have anything against them, it's just that we're usually too busy to give them the attention (and tours) they deserve. It also depends on where we're shooting (is it a tiny apartment where having one more person around would make us all miserable?), how long they'd be on set (will they be joining us for lunch? That costs the production more and we might not be able to swing it.), and your guest's age (we'll usually say no to any guest younger than 12 years old). Having said all that, we know how valuable it is for your loved ones to see what it is that you do. The best way to explain what it's like to work on a film set is for them to see it themselves and that does a lot to help them understand this crazy dream of yours. If you'd like to have a visitor, let's talk about it.

Where have you been all my life?!Probably on set, drinking too much cola, explaining—again—that adding a live tiger to the shoot isn’t in the budget, the risk assessment, or reality. But don't worry—we're here now, ready to bring your creative vision to life!
